The Sons of the Whiskey Rebellion

Here's a selection of songs that Shep used quite often which were recorded by the "The Sons of the Whiskey Rebellion" a local New Jersey group.

Shep Talks about them on one of his shows:

More on the group by Dave Bogart who played piano for them

"A record Shep used a great deal (various cuts) was made by me and a bunch of friends, known collectively as the "The Sons of the Whiskey Rebellion", privately recorded in 1967. The leader/trombone player was Bob Hall, who was Shep's flying instructor at the time. Shep loved the record and used it constantly for some years." - Dave Bogart
